They did not, sadly! Hopefully they'll have someone bring them some for next Easter, maybe the other players could have a taste too. But it was a good chat with them, not every player is so comfortable on that podcast, especially when they have to speak English.

And in other news, from the training reports, it seems like Sadiku will start against Sandefjord tomorrow, a match he'd be expected to score a few, Väänänen still on the bench.

At least there is some Finnish representation with Keto starting. I am disappointed we won't see Sadiku starting, but Ingasson isn't a bad player, and he has more experience with the team, so it makes sense Rekdal doesn't give Sadiku a free chance here.

No idea what that match was. Sadiku got some minutes as a winger, and got a chance to score but put the header above goal, had some good moves and some bad moves, but the entire team was bad, so it would be unfair to judge Agon from this. Santeri was also kept on the bench for the entire match.

It's quite weird that Sande hasn't got any minutes at all. Of course the cup game against Viking wasn't the best possible for him but still it's a little bit confusing situation that we're witnessing right now. Was he too cheap player for RBK to purchase and that's why the coach doesn't have any pressure to put him on field?

Tänään toisen puoliskon 3-4-3 toimi paremmin kuin ekan 3-5-2, ja valmentajan kommentit matsin jälkeen viittasivat siihen suuntaan, että 3-4-3:lla ehkä jatketaan, ainakin ensi sunnuntaina Oddia vastaan. Siitä matsista alkaa kolmen pelin suma kuuteen päivään, ja jotain rotaatiota lienee tulossa, eiköhän siinä irtoa Sandellekin näytön paikkaa. Toivotaan.

It could be that Santeri is being judged harshly on the few mistakes he did in the pre-season games, so the managers don't trust him. Also he was given the blame for a goal against Viking in the cup-match, even if I think that's a bit unfair, the way I saw it he was doing exactly what the tactic wanted him to do. I think he should be given a chance in a3-4-3, next to Henriksen instead of Børkeeiet, Bjørlo or Skjelbred. It is the, on paper, easiest of the three upcoming matches, and like the Sandefjord-match, it should technically be a good match to gain some confidence.

As for Santeri being cheap, I wouldn't say so at all, considering we had to agree to a deal where we pay less of the solidarity fee(seeing as he was out of contract) and give HJK a sell-on percentage of the next transfer instead. Right now that looks like 0 euro, but if he becomes the next Anthony Annan like everyone kind of hopes, it'll be a big number.

It might be some mind games again, but it seems like Santeri will start against Odd on Sunday, as one of two on the midfield in a 3-4-3. Even if I have to say Rosenborgs 3-4-3 looked like a 5-3-2 against Molde as well, but we'll see.

Should have started with Sadiku instead of Thorvaldsson, seeing how Sadiku scored in three matches against Diogo Tomas last year.

Tomas doing really well in this match, and apparently he had won 80% of duels he has been in before this match, so safe to say he's been good for a while.

Rosenborg changing strikers, but it's Aga that gets subbed on over Sadiku, but maybe Sadiku will get some time when he's thrown in as the manager starts to panic.

Väänäselle tosiaan 80 hyvää minuuttia, Sadikulle ei tänään peliaikaa. Eka puolisko oli molemmin puolin tahmeaa ja saamatonta peliä, toisella puoliskolla peli sentään heräsi henkiin, mutta maalittomaan tasapeliin päädyttiin. Seuraava matsi jo keskiviikkona, kotona Brannia vastaan.

Santeri is getting a lot of praise from all kinds of Rosenborg-fans, and he did do a really good match. I hope we get to see more. But with Brann playing a 4-3-3, I can only assume Rekdal will default to his "tried and trusted" 5-3-2, which leaves no room for Väänänen(somehow), but maybe Sadiku will play over Isak?

Also Tomas had an annoyingly good match, saved Odd a few times(even if he did some mistakes too).
